LOCATION:
- Head office, 24 Chimanga Road, Lusaka
- NB: may work from the field including places outside Lusaka and abroad on specific projects.
WORKING HOURS;

- 08:00hrs – 17:00hrs
- Monday to Friday
- Over time and on weekends may be require and will be paid for at statutory rates.
SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSES OF JOB
Media officer is a person that coordinates and implements media activities in the company so as to improve visibility and grow the brand via sharing content, creating content, covering company activities and events, digital marketing and interacting with potential customers.
KEY RESULTS AREA
- Marketing content creation, posting and managing media platforms
- Photography and video editing.
- Planning, execution and coordination of online training programs.
- General
MARKETING CONTENT CREATION, POSTING AND MANAGING MEDIA PLATFORMS
- Writing, uploading and creating daily content for the following platforms with the exception of YouTube which is to be done weekly.
- You tube
- Writing and creating content for the company website and any other platform as assigned.
- Interacting with potential clients on all platforms via replying to comments and follow up phone calls.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO EDITING.
- Cover company events and events that the company participates in by photo shooting and video shooting.
- Edit and upload pictures and videos on company digital platforms such as company website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and any other as assigned.
PLANNING, EXECUTION AND COORDINATION OF ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAMS.
- Plan and publish trainings calendar
- Advertise and market training programs
- Register participants for online training courses
- Manage and create learning groups and classes
- Distribute learning content with participants.
- Create share and manage class links.
General
- Send emails and make phone calls with clients
- Assist with training setups both physical and digital
- Any other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/ COMPETENCES
Competence in the following;
- Photography
- Videography
- Picture and video editing
- Digital marketing
- Proficiency in writing
- Minimum of a diploma in any field (marketing or journalism is preferred).
EXPERIENCE
- Not less than 1 year of managing a Facebook page (give reference of page by way of link to the page)
- Evidence of Photography and video projects worked on.
- Evidence of written works which can be in form or articles, a book, blog etc..
